MEET Training Video #4

In MEET #1, the introductory video from the MEET (Mobile Education for English Teachers) project, you saw a young pre-service teacher working in a vernacular-medium village school get quick results with children who had never seen such activities before. In MEET #2, we highlighted four techniques used by the teacher in MEET #1 that are supported by the Bridges textbook. In MEET #3, you see an experienced teacher add a fifth technique.
Here you see MEET #4 that shows the same students in two different learning situations: a traditional content-oriented lesson and a language-focused lesson where a young researcher uses the techniques we’ve seen in our earlier videos.
These videos show some of the great results we’ve seen in initial trials and uses of Bridges in vernacular-medium schools, but any materials design can benefit from additional research and live trials in classrooms.
Please email bridges AT studydo.asia if you have ideas for research or teaching projects. While supplies last, we are happy to provide class sets of Bridges to such projects, so that each of your learners can have a copy.
